And MSOffice 2010 is officially out of market.
Its Windows 10 will not entertain office 2003 & 2007. What all this means is that Microsoft will surely compel people buy its software updates in future and will not entertain any free stuff from then on. Finally, i purchased a win 7 basic and installed on it to keep things going. As soon as the said OS met its death, my PC stopped getting updates and it started to show restart or blue screen of death every 15 days after re-loading on the PC. I had a PC which was running on a pirated software of XP for years. So, by next year end, it will probably come up with what you feel isn’t going to happen………that’s business development.įor instance take the example of XP. It is simply loosing money by allowing third party software tools work on its platform. Next year, Microsoft will tighten its grip on all those tools which it has offered so far. Is Windows 10 not for law firms, financial services and healthcare sector? So, the user will be the loser in the end! In order to stop free usage of other software tools such as LibreOffice on its platform, Microsoft is planning to put a curb on such software’s running on its Windows 10 platform by 4Q of 2016. That means, Microsoft will offer software purchase to its users on EMIs. The company is planning to keep this stipulation for 15 months and then intends to make the software free for that device later. It intends to put a $4 / month rate on each software purchase /device for the first 6 months and then wants to slightly increase the amount at the end of 6 months. In order to encourage the users from buying genuine software, Microsoft is thinking to lower the premium amount of the software’s. Like how, Windows 8/8.1 users were barred from using MS office 2003 version, the same will imply on the upcoming new OS, which is said to hit the software markets on a commercial note by August this year. If you fail to do so, then the usage of the software will be barred on the said platform.
As soon as they load the old version, a pop-up will be appearing on the screen, which will ask for an upgrade for a premium. Microsoft will be giving a last chance to all MS office users of older versions. Unless you use genuine software on the latest Win 10 platform, you won’t be able to access the features. All those who opt for a Windows 10 or upgrade to the said OS from Windows 7 or 8.1 must and should purchase Office 2013 software. Microsoft wants to curb the usage of pirated versions of its software from this year and as a first step wants to put a barricade to MS office usage. If this is not done by June this year, then the free migration from Windows 8 to Windows 10 will not be possible. Microsoft has also made it official that all those using Windows 8, will have to upgrade their laptops with Windows 8.1 operating system.
So, MS office users who were using 2003, 20 cracked (pirated) versions will have to dump their software into trash, if in case, they decide to go for a new Windows 10 operating system loaded laptop or a simple upgrade from Windows 8.1 & Windows 7 to Win 10.
As per the latest update available from Microsoft sources, Windows 10 operating system will only allow users to use the new genuine version of MS Office 2013 on its platform in near future. MS Office software free users who are either using a cracked version or the old genuine 2003 or 2007 version will be surely disappointed with this news.
